Mothobi is responsible for the overall management of our business. He brings wide ranging experience gained from such firms as the South African subsidiary of the NYSE listed Alliance Capital Management LP and Investec Asset Management. An economist by training, his deep understanding of the core drivers of the investments industry originates from his 14 year tenure across consulting, business development, investment analysis and economic research. Mothobi has an abundant mindset and is intellectually generous with his knowledge as evidenced by the fact that he previously also ran his own trustee training business and lectured part time postgraduate economics classes.

Mothobi excelled at tennis as a youngster, an early indicator of his competitive spirit and strong personality. He is described as compassionate, competitive, extremely hardworking & a true people's person. He enjoys music, travelling, reading and engaging widely on development issues, strategy, public finance & economics. He is married to Petra, a communications practitioner and dotes on his son, Motheo Kgosi.
